@sebpearce you just refill that chamber once a day and it goes into the water gradualy over the day you don’t loose any co2 as it doesn’t bubble
only had it a few days so I’ll need to wait and see how good it is
@clempunk86 don’t know how long it lasts but seems ok just need to wait n see , I got a female apisto yesterday awell but shes been hiding so couldn’t make a video lol
@sebpearce it’s an aerosol can , you spray it into the defuser till it’s full
Hmm, my tank is heavily planted, think I’ll put co2 in every 2 days and see what happens
cool …what shop did you get it from?
@martyb0y1981
I dont think you get what I’m saying mate, can you slow down the rate at which the camber / diffuser releases the gas you have put into it from the Co2 bottle
> As in a bubble a second or two bubbles a second etc
@sebpearce sorry for the confusion there had to put up with a screaming baby and couldn’t concentrate on answering you lol the canister holds 550cc of CO2 and it doesn’t tell you what the defuser holds I bought it to try it out not sure how well it will do but £6.85 has got to be better than the £150 they want for a proper CO2 bottle as long as it works lol
@martyb0y1981
What I mean is can you regulate the flow of Co2 going into the tank from the gas chamber that’s filled by the Co2 Bottle, I wouldn’t want to put in to little or too much Co2, does it flow out at a predetermined rate or is it adjustable
Cheers, Seb.
what ever you do don’t buy one of these, it caused me major algae problems it isn’t worth wasting money on I put it in the bin lol
Just got one of these off eBay, anyone know how long a can lasts?
@sebpearce you can buy more defusers they link together
Looks good for the money
Does it have a valve to regulate the flow, how often do you have to refill that chamber with the co2
Cheers for the vid Marty was tryin to find someone who was using this product without a second little diffuser unit they come with.. What sort of Algae issues did you have? p.s. excellent accent
@martyb0y1981 lol I can see what type of bottle / can it is and how its used mate just wanted to know if its dosing could be adjusted, was looking to get one but knowing now that you cant adjust this I will look for another system
@TheRossiboy just a wee shop near me aqua parade , you can get them on ebay but are a few £’s more
The co2 reduces algae growth and promotes plant growth just put my tetra co2 in tank today
I don’t know how long it will last I threw mine in the bin after a month it cased major algae problems, worst thing I have ever bough for my tank.
could you show a video of how to set it up
i just bought one. its in the tank now i just dont know how the co2 is released from the diffuser
@sebpearce nope it’s like an upside down cup the water flows under and gradually takes the co2 out , it’s not a co2 bottle it’s a spray can like a spray paint can
