Aqueon Submersible 150W Aquarium Heater for Fresh and Saltwater 06102 Review

A review and how to video on setting up the Aqueon Submersible 150W Aquarium Heater for Fresh or Saltwater Aquarium up to 55 Gallons.

On my demo in my fish aquarium, I have it at Fresh water tank with Barbs and a few other medium-smaller fish in my 34 Gallon tank. This unit has an automatic safety shutoff and overheat protection and settings accurate to 1 degrees and is shatter resistant per the description.
It’s Aqueon Model # 06102

Looking at the thermometer, I want to keep my temperature around 75C.

This product is very simple to install and use, the only thing I found was to get the suction cups onto the unit and have it stick to the walls of the aquarium. Just plug in the AC power then there will be amber orange glow that can be seen when all lights are off.

It’s too dark to show in my video but that’s how to check if it’s working also. Adjust the blue rotary knob using the arrow as the indicator on the temperature you want to set it at.

Enjoy the video.

Be Careful with those Aqueon “GLASS” Heaters.. Mine was broken when I got home and I didn’t know. I got SHOCKED. They quickly sent out a replacement along with a new hood and other goodies!!! So I would Highly Advise buying the AQUEON PRO AS THERE ARE NO GLASS COMPONENTS.
