HAD MINE 3YRS STILL GOING STRONG GREAT LIGHT NO MATTER WHAT COLOR OF LEDS YOU GET! 5 STAR***** LIKE DAN SAID AND GREAT REVIEW BY THE WAY DAN PEACE. H
how the light so far?
Tis may sound like a stupid question but I need an answer to it. Many of the Led lighting offer modes BUT, I’d like to know if the lighting can be completely shut off so that there’s no light ( nighttime for example)? So far, no company talks about an on/off switch. It seems like the only way to shut all the lights off is to unplug it from the wall. Is this true or am I reading all the advertising wrong??? I would really appreciate an answer. Thanks
from my research the marineland is around the same price
I went to the site( AMAZON) you spoke about and I couldn’t find the one above that you’re talking about???
ok, the only reason i ask you to PM me is that youtube no longer lets people put links in the comment box anymore
STOP MOVING THE CAMERA AROUND SO MUCH!
But for your fish it’s not a good thing that algae do not grown with those light … you have there some malawi fish who eat algae in their natural habitat and the people usually wait till their tank is fully colonized from algae before start to add malawi chiclids on it .
HERE IS MY REVIEW AFTER 2 YEARS!
2 YEARS LATER BEAMSWORK AQUARIUM LED LIGHT
Hey, I got mine second hand off of someone who was giving away a tank. I’m not sure which model it is, but I seem to be having a problem with it. When it’s on white light mode, it turns on and off every twenty seconds. I cannot find any switch for a timer setting and I was never given a remote with it. No idea what to do. Anyway, I tried the link you gave and most of those items are $80 or higher.
What I mean is that they refer to their on/off switch as one that will shut one mode off but leave the other one on.—-I/ve seen ads that talk about 2 mode and 3 mode. Is the third mode an on/off switch to shut all the lights off?
Just got mine from topdogsellers on eBay for 26 bucks it’s a 36 inch light and I love it and it does have an off switch meaning no light produced
My ‘3rd gen beamswork 36″ light’ off ebay just arrived today. It claims 2140 lumen output. Would this help with plant growth? If not, what good secondary lighting is recommended to help plants? Also, my light switch is like yours, would you know if the day and night lights can be put on separate timers.. Probably not… 🙁
My plants love this light. I have the 6500K, perhaps you have the other one. 10k I think?
hi, i like it ,but !!! can i have one Anubis plant in aquarium? is Anubis going to be ok with that light, thank you, because I dont wanna buy whole spectrum LED like
RBGW
i own the 3rd generation (36in to 39in) of this light and there’s a improvement in brightness and power supply. The power supply now is like a laptop brick, you know with block and the power cable Brightness is 2140 lumens. With that brightness it’s almost reef capable, so it’s more than enough for even heavy planted aquariums. After a full year it still performs like out of the box. If your interested in buying the 3rd gen, please private message me. By the way it’s only $55.99 with shipping
Do you recommend the beamworks power led 400 for plants for 25 gallon aquarium? Or should i buy a light with T5 light?
I have a a question do you keep the night mode on every night or there’s the time when you turn them off the whole night? Thanks for the video I just ordered my light but I wanted to see how it works thank it was helpful
Nice
Junk. after 6 months, the night mode got really dim, its not the power supply.
this will promote brown algae as well. I have never had brown algae ever.
added this light and within 2 weeks it started.
There is a reason leds are cheap or expensive, just make sure you arent paying hi dollar for china junk.
like the led bubble wall, control unit went bad after about 6 months.
i have a 48″ and 36″ that i use on my planted tanks and they do great , mine are 10,000K
